Left Hand Montauk Coffee Company: A bit about us
We are a locally owned coffee roaster located in Montauk, New York.
Left Hand Coffee opened its doors in 2015 after Larry Siedlick and Ioannis Papagiannis decided to take over an existing coffee shop.
Montauk, deserved to have a good coffee shop and the coffee had to be as good as the history of the town it calls home.
One thing that fishermen, surfers, restaurant servers, chefs and bartenders, entrepreneurs, actors and models have in common is that they all love a good cup of coffee.
We name our coffee blends after local historical places and surf spots and we choose our beans from countries that not only produce the best coffees but are also surfing destinations.
We are honored that our coffee and laid back surf culture has been embraced by locals and visitors alike and that it has also become an integral part of creativity, adventure and surf lifestyle.
Our place reflects our surroundings and we like to use as much as recycled material as possible when we built our cafes such as drift wood and barn wood.
Our coffee is organic and we are in the process of going strictly Certified Organic and Star K Kosher.
Our coffee include Fair Trade Certified, Shade Grown, Direct Trade, and Rainforest Alliance Certified Selections.
